"Fall River Bicentennial Logo"
In collaboration with the Mayor's office of Fall River, the idea was to create a graphic to represent Fall River's 200 anniversary.
Visually, the logo emulates a patriotic and nostalgic essense. The photograph of old Downtown Fall River was aquired from the Fall River
Historical Society, scanned digitally and was treated with a sepia tone. The graphic was used as a visual symbol for a variety of ongoing
bicentennial events throughout the year.

"Ciao Bow Wow!"
Ciao! Bowow is a small home-based business that makes gourmet dog treats. The owner's need was to have a unique logo
that truly represents the cute, light-hearted and natural eccentricity of her product. The concept was to create a dog character that will
be used as a springboard for other representations of various products in the future. In result, each item will retain a consistent
look but still represent each product individually.

"Fall River Firstnight"
The First Night planning committee, in conjunction with the Mayor's office of Fall River, approached me to create a graphic that would
promote the city's First Night celebration of 2002. The graphic was also to be used as a commemoration to the city's bicentennial year. Since
this was to be an exceptional event, the committee requested the graphic to be eye-catching and meaningful to the city's 200th anniversary.

"Naked Grape"
The Naked Grape is a fresh start-up company that offers an introduction on the art of wine. Aware of the pervading regal stereotype
and the intimidation factor to the novice connoisseur, Naked Grape made a conscious decision to create a fun and novel approach to
their identity and to the learning experience.

"Flipbook Studios"
Flipbook Studios was the creation of a fellow designer and myself in an attempt to create our own design studio. The idea of the logo
is a literal interpretation of our name. The actual "flipbook" in the logo is a block print which gives a homemade, artsy feel.

"Castle Awards"
As a freelance designer, Castle Awards is one of earlier clients. Revolving their visual identity around their name, my idea
was to create a literal symbol of a chess piece. The logo would also allow the company to expand their visual identity around a chess board.

"Mojo Marketing"
Mojo Marketing, a start-up company I worked with through ReadyAbout Interactive, strictly deals with business-to-business marketing consultation.
Although the symbol within the logo looks purely abstract, my intention was to loosely symbolize the flow and exchange of information.

"Evidata Solutions"
Evidata is a consulting company who services computer database solutions. Since the technical industry is rather difficult to represent literally,
I thought I would have fun with the "i" within the title. I also thought the orange circles worked out well which reminded me of a train of binary data.

"Growing Stronger"
Growing stronger is the brain child of Tufts University researcher and award- winning writer Miriam Nelson. Our responsibility at ReadyAbout was
to create an interactive web site that paralleled her instructional health books. The Logo was created to support the idea of what the title suggests; an inclination towards
a physically improved and healthier you.

"Fall River Festival of the Arts"
The Festival of the Arts is an event to showcase local, visual and performing artists and takes place in Downtown Fall River, Massachusetts.
As a committee member and volunteer designer, it was my undertaking to create a long-lasting identifiable logo. Although the festival
encompasses various genres of the arts, I decided to create an identifiable, painterly "swoosh" to represent the art in the title. The festival
has had three successful consecutive events to date.

"Naspe"
NASPE represents the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology dedicated to the study of cardiac rhythm disorders. The logo
was actually a redesign of an older version. The cardiac rhythm was corrected to display an actual heart rhythm within the universal and symbolic shape of a heart.

"Past Promotional Logo"
Here is a logo I designed for myself a while back for my business cards. Not unlike today, the logo concept revolved around two of my favorite things to do; draw and drink coffee.
